Pretty lousy day. Off to a bad start and got progressively worse.... tomorrow will be much better. Nothing really to Blog about, just some articles in the Italian press about the possibility that our " war on terrorism " will turn into a permanent " instrument of repression ". The reasoning behind the article, is that all countries have a police force and policing is an on-going activity. Nobody ever expects police activity to outroot criminality once and for all... the same might apply to the war on terror!
Interesting thought, but what do the Italians know about wars? Certainly they have no idea of how hard it is to keep an army deployed in any given country for a prologued period of time... let alone multiple countries!
